Digital Storytelling Rocks!

I absolutely enjoyed creating my first digital storytelling! This time I did the plan at the very beginning and I created a digital story(DS) study group. I shared what I learned with my friend by writing a learning journal.

What I can do better next time:

  1. Write more dramatic stories and revises the scripts. I am really moved by the Youtube video The power of digital storytelling by Emily Ballin. I even found the poem Where I am from to share with my friends. The story is the key of the digital storytelling.
  2. Enhance speaking skills. Read more fluently or even add some role play in the future to make it fun.
  3. Prepare more time for feedback and updates
  4. Try more elements such as videos and so on.
Digital storytelling can improve students’ 21st learning skills. It is a great teaching tool for teachers as well. Adobe Spark is so easy to use and I will keep improving it in the future.
